A fantastic game of simple creativity. 
A great homage to cinema, that cinema can still do, that film is placed as a priority to transmit ideas, emotions, create dreams, in a personal, artistic and creative.

The story is about a store videnoleggio, a little old-fashioned film with Ardini not by gender but in alphabetical order, with great films, a few copies but different titles, on the other not yet converted to DVD format, but all in vhs. Just the kind of support for film in the store will be their weak point, since one of the two main characters, wonderfully played by Jack Black, after an unfortunate experience, will cause demagnetization of the tapes.

Gondry is a wizard of fantasy and the camera makes its presence felt, including views, sequences, jump cut, and special visual effects. Also great ingenuity to make the most of these special remake all the films and not with cutting-edge special effects, but the best that our beloved director can give to us and that is very able to express his ideas. A bit like we saw in "The Science of Sleep", cardboard sets, special costumes, great simplicity and naturalness are in support of our two characters.
